I paired this conditioner bar with Grease Flet shampoo bar, as I’m having oily scalp but dry hair (hope I paired it right). In the beginning, It tooks me a few attempts to get used to this conditioner bar, however now I think I wouldn’t get back to the commercial conditioner. When I applied this conditioner bar onto my hair, I start wondering if it’s gonna work as those typical conditioner, as it’s totally different experience. I just rub a thin layer on my hair, and slowly massage and leave it for 1-2 minutes and rinse clean. Commercial conditioner is always slippery and the overly rich creamy which I hate that, it caused achny at my back, hence before I use conditioner bar, I hardly use conditioner. After i used this conditioner bar for near to 3 weeks, day after day, I found my hair is now much manageable, with added protection of hair oil after shower. Tq LAVE Republic~

I pair this with Dandruff-Who shampoo bar. I couldn’t feel significant effect of this conditioner bar, but I will definitely try other LAVE Republic’s conditioner bar after I am done using this. Waste-free hair care products for the win!

3rd week of using this solid conditioner bar and I don’t think I’m going back to using bottled conditioners. Solid conditioner bar certainly has a getting-used to attempts on it especially if you’re used to lathering thick creams of conditioners. I paired this with the Bye-bye dandruff sulfate-free shampoo bar and I get excited each time I wash my hair now because the combo smells so good!

The application might be tricky initially but it gets easier when I start rubbing the bar on very wet hair to get the essence out. At first I was quite skeptical because it didn’t have that slippery feeling like the commercial conditioner. But it dd wonders to my hair. I paired it with its respective Grease Fret Shampoo and I love the results after 6 weeks on usage so far. Not to mention that the products last for quite some time. As I was writing this review, I have already purchased another new bar!

Compared to the 4ever Happy bar I feel like this has almost no effect? I have medium long thick hair, so it’s quite frustrating spending ages getting product on all of my hair, only to have it feel like I didn’t apply a thing at all. Maybe being targeted at oily heads means it’s less “softening”? I’ll be going back to the 4ever happy bar!
